Nice RV park, but pretty expensive ($5 per day extra for dogs). The pull through spots are wide enough, but short. The swimming pool, showers, and bathrooms are clean and well kept. This is a mature park with lots of trees. The golf course looked very nice, although we did not play. The old hotel is beautiful and well worth the short walk. The town of Garberville seemed to be filled with old hippies. The Avenue of the Giants is spectacular and a must see. Beware the 3" sewer connections. Probably won't be back because of the cost.

Nice location at the harbor, and a short walk to the ocean. The sites are gravel, and separated only by lines of rocks. Seemed like a lot of long term trailers, but not a problem. Overall impression is that of a trailer part, and not an RV resort. The owners are helpful and friendly. We loved Brookings, and the weather was good.

Dave is an outstanding camp ground host. Very friendly and helpful Most of the sites are large, level, concrete pull-throughs. Note that all sites face due west, and there is no shade. Bathroom and showers were spotless. No cable TV or WiFi. No campground amenities, but a great location within easy bike or walking distance from downtown Napa. We stayed for four days, and had a great time.

We did not actually stay here, but toured the facilities with a salesman. The park is absolutely fantastic, as well described by other posters. I must comment on the office staff, however. The previous reviewer had it dead on: the woman at the front desk barely looked up from her computer screen, and muttered "can I help you" as her greeting. Why she thought that whatever was on her screen was more important than a real live customer will remain a mystery. If I was the sales manager there, the first thing I would do is fire her. This is a high-end resort, mind you, with lots costing as much as $250,000. The developer is now selling some lots for $39,900, which is about half what they were a while ago. Good luck with that staff.

Winchester Bay is absolutely beautiful, as described by all the previous posts. We didn't give it a 10 because the WiFi was very weak or did not work at all. We were there for a week, and it was extremely windy the whole time, which wore us out. Not sure I would return unless I knew in advance that that the winds were forecast to be relatively light.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Oregon, and thought that this park was very nice, albeit pricey We did get half off with our CampUSA card, which is reflected in the price stated. The bathrooms were spotless, and some of the nicest we have ever seen. No recreational facilities, although we were told that we could use the pool and spa at the adjacent motel. Nice place to stay overnight, but no reason to stay longer.

We love this park with its pull-in sites right on the river. The waterfront sites have been reconfigured for motorhomes up to 38 feet with slides. Very good restaurant on site, and the park is easy walking distance to downtown Rio Vista. Very friendly staff, and clean restroom and showers.

One of the nicest RV parks that we've seen. Everything is brand new and sparkling clean. All sites are large, concrete, and level with grass in between. Beautiful clubhouse with a large, heated pool and two spas, meeting room with kitchen and large gas BBQ, reading room with fireplace. Free shuttle to casino, which is about a mile away, but completely out of sight. Surrounded by rolling hills and nice views. Free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and USA Today newspaper every morning was a nice touch.Walking trail around park. Friendly staff. An ideal park for groups with great facilities and lots to do within a few miles. We will definitely be back.
